Heavy consumption of the essential amino acid lysine (as indicated in the treatment of cold sores) has allegedly shown false positives in some and was cited by American shotputter C. J. Hunter as the reason for his positive test, though in 2004 he admitted to a federal grand jury that he had injected nandrolone. A possible cause of incorrect urine test results is the presence of metabolites from other AAS, though modern urinalysis can usually determine the exact steroid used by analyzing the ratio of the two remaining nandrolone metabolites. As a result of the numerous overturned verdicts, the testing procedure was reviewed by UK Sport . On October 5, 2007, three-time Olympic gold medalist for track and field Marion Jones admitted to use of the drug, and was sentenced to six months in jail for lying to a federal grand jury in 2000.
I moved to a little beach town a few years back and there isn’t a whole lot out here in terms of supplements and such. The closest store was probably several miles away and I didn’t have a car, so I started shopping online for something that could help me get better at lifting and just stronger in general. And of course more ripped, because I spent a lot of time on the beach and I was pretty pale and not defined then. I searched for a long time because the internet is saturated with these sorts of things. I even tried a bunch of them but ended up canceling because they didn’t work. I went through so many that I thought maybe I hadn’t waited long enough before making my decision. This was the last one I tried. I mean you still have to work when you take it and it’s not like it’s an instant magical pill, but I saw steady progress for sure. Plus I had the energy to step up my workouts. Eventually – about six months in – I was looking good. Not chiseled abs, but some great definition. Plus my obliques were coming in, which I had wanted to see for a long time. So happy it worked! I’m not self conscious when I’m out on the beach anymore!
